Elder Heart

Elder Heart produces public art to expose the suicide epidemic of veterans.

Our hope is simply this:

Lets raise interest in our communities and local artisans. Lets pay respect to our warriors and be the change we need in our lives by taking action, by making steps and by having something which recognizes our belief in ourselves and the members of our home. We will take responsibility for ourselves and our lives. Elder Heart is just a facilitator of what we already are and want to be.

We will create works of public art for the purpose of healing our community and empowering our veterans through the experience of creating art. It is false to think that the pain of war is a veteran’s problem. It is a cultural and human problem that affects everyone.

We are here in order to create a healing experience for others, we need to experience it for ourselves as well.
